Who needs First Aid at Work rather than Emergency First Aid?

First Aid at Work (3 days) is for designated workplace first-aiders. Emergency First Aid (1 day) is for appointed persons on lower-risk sites. Your employer’s first-aid needs assessment decides which award you need.

Is this an SIA licence course?

No. It is workplace first aid. Door supervisor training at IBA UK already includes Emergency First Aid in the 7-day SIA package.

How long is the course?

First Aid at Work at IBA UK is a 3-day classroom course in Birmingham. If you already hold a valid FAW certificate and only need to requalify, book the 2-day first aid refresher instead.
